Possible gallstones in dog's faeces ????

First let me say my dog is perfectly fine. But I found something odd in her poop this morning. She has eaten NOTHING new and is always on the leash so I know she didnt eat something weird outside.

I found a picture of gallstones and that is exactly what they look like. (there may have been 5 or so) I called the vet but I cant take her today. They just want to see it... wont give me any info on if its even possible.

Is there someone who can tell me if they could be gallstones? She did strain a little - but showed no other signs of discomfort or distress.

THANKS!!

ps. It was suspected she could have cushings a few months ago. She does have a distended belly. So she did have urine/blood work and an xray done. Nothing abnormal was found then. not sure if this is a gallbladder issue if it would be found in those tests

Could it not have been just small stones she ate while out? Some dogs do eat stones!

Only that she doesnt really do that. I thought maybe she possibly stole an acorn. But there was quite a bit and they were whole - smaller than acorn. And it wasnt corn (which she also hasnt eaten)

thanks

Are you sure it's gall stones, our late Benny passed bladder stones a couple of times so wondered if it could be those ? If it is it's likely dietary and you need to find a low calcium diet, the vet will be able to help you with that one.

I've had gallstones and they are excrutiatingly painful when they pass out of the gallbladder and your dog would be screaming in pain. Much more likely it is something she ingested.
