Passport

When sending your passport away do you have to send it registered delivery or recorded or can you just send it normal post?

I agree with Inca - do send it recorded signed for delivery, a passport is just too tempting if it were to fall into the wrong hands, not to mention the aggravation for having to apply for a new one. I believe that is one of the requirements by immigration that all passports must be sent registered post.

OMG def send it recorded or registered - whichever requires a signature and guarantees that it goes where you want it to.

If you can't go to to the Passport Office yourself, then you must have it sent by recordrd Delivery or go to the Post Office and let them do it for you as it is far too important to lose

Just thought I would let you know I sent it via the Post Office as suggested, my old passport was returned normal post 5 days later and my new passport was delivered that same afternoon by courier. Excellent So I can go anywhere now!!
