I have a Springer and he is from working stock background and apparently has plenty of 'nose', whatever on earth that is! Im guessing its why he swims/runs/crawls/ambles off into the undergrowth when the mood takes him.

He is lovely though and even at nine months, I can see him calming down, prob knows he'll get out to the wilderness at some point during the day, so might aswell just snooooze...

I always wanted a labrador. Still like them, although when we were researching to get Tigger and trying to work out which breed would suit us as a family, etc, I remember thinking that there were an awful *lot* of breeds that I would quite gladly stick in an old country house somewhere in the middle of nowhere and reside alongside!! So I guess its more, are we suited to their needs and if so, if and when I get that house (donations welcome) come on dogs.
I miss my puppy-he looks all grown up.

Trust me berger, it won't be long

I have borders and don't think I'll ever change.
However I have fallen in love with Leos and Akitas and would love one at some point. In the meantime I have my friends ones to fuss up to.

We've got an Irish Terrier, and I expect one day we'll get another one

Other breeds I'd like to own: Manchester terrier, bedlington, soft-coated wheaten

Fantasy world: Otter hound

Would love another Rottie, but am everso fond of German shorthaired pointers and Manchester Terriers.A Springer Spaniel would be useful cause i shoot, but lack of experience for training stops me.

I have a (brown) Newfie and a X breed (Chow X Rottie).

If space, money & time were no object, I'd like....
More Newfies!!
Bernese Mountain Dog
Great dane
Rottweiler
Irish Wolfhound
Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla
Spanish Water Dog
Akita
Chow Chow
Norweigan Elkhound
Tibetan Mastiff

and when I'm too old and doddery for the bigger dogs...it'll have to be a Pug
