I don't generally bath mine - in fact, apart from the odd smear of fox poo/cow poo or whatever, I have never bathed the three younger ones but Rowan tends to get quite scurfy and itchy. Fortunately, he's very good and will just stand still unless the water is very cold!

Hi not sure if this will work but just in the next village from me is a woman who runs her own small business that specialises in anything and everything itchy to do with animals, including dogs, llamas, horses etc.. I have heard extraordinary good things about her products, never had to use any of it myself but might be worth looking at her website.

Rowan looks gorgeous and exceedingly fluffy. I hope it helps his itching. I bathed one of mine yesterday ... he wasn't too keen but looks lovely. I too was only washing mine with a shampoo to try and help with the itching.

Sorry - just wanted to say with her products you don't necessary have to use them in the bath, you can massage the "shampoo" straight onto their skin/coat and it does the trick apparently.
