Ladybug 1993-2010

My ladybug passed yesterday. I am completely lost- and do not know how to continue or find normality again. She was nearly 17, and with me for over half of my life. She was/ is part of me- my best friend, my companion, my other half. I cannot imagine existing without her- I just don't know how. Does this feeling remain this strong? I was the lucky one to have had her by my side, to have known such a gentle and loyal being, to have had her support unconditionally.

She was a newfoundland/lab mix...beautiful long black hair and her nickname was once "the dart."

So sorry for your loss. It's no consolation now, but, in time, you will be able to remember your dear girl with a smile instead of tears. Until then, weep lots, it does help.

Run free Ladybug - much loved and very, very missed

Thank you, Vicki,

Your words shook my world, but in a good way.

So sorry to hear of your loss.

Vicki is right - whilst your hurting just now, things change with time and you'll have the lovely memories forever.

Run fre Ladybug

Yesterday, I was so mad at time. Today, I shall forgive it.

Imagine a breeze on a warm summer day- that was my Ladybug. She was vivacious, loyal, yet only chased a stick once in her life. She was more human than dog, or so we thought. She never left my side. I always knew she was right there, always.
