I feel sick. Couldn't watch it all, can't believe he only got 8 bloody weeks, what sort of justice is that. If that poor pup had of bitten the friend, then I could see a very different article. Such a shame that these idiots get dogs in the first place. I just don't get why buy a dog and beat it, why beat a dog anyway. I just feel very sickend and angry.

I didnt look at the link but have to say from the op it sounds like a terrible event and one that should have got a much sterner sentence.

He will be out in a couple of weeks and no doubt looking for the next thuggish thing to do.

Disgusting. The poor little girl cowering and none of the other helped after the first time. Was she his dog? 8 weeks isn't long enough. He should be made to clean up dog kennels (without any contact with dogs of course) for a long time...or some sort of actualy punishment.
