Depressed Bess (border collie)

Bess isn't coping with her operation very well.
She spends all her time sleeping at the side of the sofa. I've put her bed there so she is comfortable, bless her.
She won't wee in the garden either. Its difficult taking her out because the paths are so dirty.
I'm sure she'll pick up soon. She has her bed next to me at night

The t-shirt is to stop her licking her stitches.

Awww, bless, she doesn't look a happy bunny at the moment does she.

As you say, I'm sure she'll soon come round though, then you're problem will be trying to keep her calm until she's fully healed.

Give her a gentle hug from me

I would not put it down to depression and would want her checked by a vet, it may be down to pain but in most cases it is trying to keep them quiet that is the problem not trying to get them outside. If she sees a vet and all is well she can be given medication to help with the swelling and the pain.

Poor Bess what a sorry state she looks.
I don't think you should be blaming yourself but as Pita says, maybe she should be checked over.
Let us know how she goes on.

Awwww poor little Bess, she doesn't look happy does she. HOpe she's eating and drinking fine though? How long has it been since her op? I'd be tempted to phone the vet if this carries on, poor little girl, she looks really miserable, awwww I hate seeing them like this, poor you, I bet you're worried.

I agree with the others. If you're really worried about her, get the vet to check her over.
Keep us posted....

She went to the vets this morning. Her wound his really clean and healing well. She's having Metacam every morning.
She keep's herself very quiet but i do have to get her outside to go to the toilet!
She is depressed! She's not a happy bunny but who can blame her. Its gonna hurt
But when its dinner time, she's the first in line.
I'm not worried about her, just feel sorry for her
