Finally some good news for Murphy - Hydrotherapy

Murphy can now resume short walks (after 8 weeks of no exercise) we are to start off with 2 x 10 mins walk per day for the first week and the 2 x 20 mins walk per day for the 2nd week and 2 x 30 mins walks for the 3rd week and then we can start short off lead walks - its the best news ever

I also had a call from the Canine Hydropool today that the vet referred us too and Murphy's first session is next Wednesday

One of the owners there also has 3 rotts and they will be there to meet us next week aswell - Im sooo excited

I'll make sure to take piccies

lol Helena - took Murphy out last night and it was like being pulled by a steam train, my arm felt like it was being pulled out of its socket and Murphy was trying to sniff everything in sight bless him.

He was a tad calmer this morning and tonight....thank dog

it's sooo good being out with him again though

Splendid news Stephanie I am so pleased that all is progressing well. Murphy has been such a good, patient boy through his ordeal. I am sure he will enjoy the hyro once he gets used to it, and it will be of such benefit to him

Told ya!! Great to hear he can enjoy life again, and you of course. You want to try holding onto a 16h2" horse, who's been couped up in a box for 3 months after a colic op!!! Now, that was pretty scary I can tell you - I surived to tell tell the tale though
