It's not usually in Cavaliers JD did it quite often & never actually humped a teddy etc

Male toy dogs do mature quite early so I wouldn't worry too much.

A friends young B&T dog started humping as soon as she groomed his back. I distracted him with some chicken whilst he was on my grooming table & she titivated him & he stopped. She's roped in hubby to help at home

Don't panic if he does it again ignore it but as others have said keep a covert eye on him

It brought a rye smile to my lips as an ex co owner once told me the dog puppy when had kept had 4 testicles & needed to go to the Vet PDQ i did think she should have been aware of the male dogs anatomy !

Poor little soldier........no wonder he yelped. I like the idea of distracting this type of "excited" behaviour by offering a toy. I think next time my hubby tries it on, I'll throw him a ball.......I'll let you know if it works.....

Your hubby humps teddys? Well, whatever floats yer boat, I suppose...

Hope Obi's over excited bits are getting better. Here is a pretty good description of how the birds and bees work as far as doggies are concerned. Might help explain a few things...
