Sky is going in for another op (tumour on paw)

Had Sky at the vets last night. Noticed at the weekend that she was licking her left paw a fair bit and when i looked she had a white lump about 2-3mm across........as she has had tumours removed before thought it best to get it checked.....

It is another tumour, it is small thankfully because of where it is we have spotted it quite early......

So sheis going in on April 7 to have it removed. Due to her age they do not want give her a full anaesthetic so they are gonna heavily sedate her and give her loads of local and take it off that way.........

And i had a stern lecture on her weight.......so when her paw is mended I have to get 2 kilos off her 3 would be better......I do spoil her.....so that will now have to stop!.....and the excersize will ahve to be increased, so the vets are gonna give me something to help her arthritise a bit.

hi karen

Re hydrotherapy - think that will be the one Bruno goes to - Glenrothes ??

if it is speak to Isla and tell her you know Bruno - she does normally need a vet referral - but sure the vet wont say its a bad idea anyway !!!

maybe we will see each other there !!
