I like so many different things, I think it depends on which side of the bed I get out of. I go through phases. Sometimes its R&B and Rap, somtimes it's old 80's stuff, then somtimes I'll listen to something like Diana Krall. I have very eclectic taste! I also hav a weakness for the ministry of sound CD's which I love for going to the gym, definately get me moving!

On my 21st birthday (now back in the mists of time ) someone gave me a vinyl LP (no CDs in those days, but we had got past shellac discs) of bits of Chopin, then I got into the music of Sibelius, which took me straight down the "clasical" road, at high speed. I studied Music as a filler for my degree, and carried on with it. On the CD player right now is a disc of 5-part Masses by a chap called Lassus.

Otherwise, I could get on quite well with Lu-1: I like "classic rock", such as Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac (in the Peter Green days), Dire Straits (what a guitar player, that Mark Knopfler!) and Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton.

Opera gets a bit of a spin in Snorri Mansions, too - Puccini, Wagner and Verdi, to name but three. Mrs S got me into that, thanks, dear!

One day, I took Kali into a Kirkwall pub; there were two drunks singing something awful, and Kali started to howl at them. One said "Your dog doesn't like good music!", to which I replied "The trouble is that he does - he was brought up on Mahler!" SILENCE.
