INXS - searching for new singer!

Has anyone heard how INXS are choosing a replacement for Michael Hutchence? They are doing a 'fame academy' style show to choose the new lead singer and it's absolutely brilliant!!!! It's on VH1 on Sky and the catch up shows are Saturday and Sunday nights.

The 15 hopeful singers are absolutely amazing! It is definitely great viewing. If any of you do manage to catch it, the fellow called JD actually lives in my hometown in Canada!!!!!

Let me know if any of you see it and what you think.

I dont think Michael Hutchence is replaceable.

They can never get one quite like him

Just like there's no replacing Freddy Mercury from Queen...

I think its just another silly tv show

Oh, think I hit a sore spot there...sorry folks didn't mean to say he could be replaced but just pleased that there's so much good talent out there.

Oh I know.. I just think its a silly idea... is all

Why not "just" find a talent for the talent's sake??? I mean like Idols or popstars...

Why try the impossible???

The thing is out of the 15 they are auditioning, probably 6 or so will definitely come out with careers in the music business, they are that good!

i have watched a few episodes on VH1 and to be honest, i didnt think much of the 'hopefulls' were that talented IMO
