I agree with that, tiger brindle is very striking. If I was to have a lurcher (a type which is growing on me day by day) then I think i'd go for a tiger brindle.

I'm not anti brindle myself at all, Jed has brindle tan points.

I agree, love the brindles and the mahogany is gorgeous
I like my Staffies, but with everything in proportion, hate great big heads and ultra short muzzles, don't like untidy ears, nor light eyes because it spoils the head expression.

Long hair, medium sized, like a dog with a decent length muzzle but not too long. Ears can be floppy or prick, either is fine by me.

I tend to like dogs that aren't fancy, that are sort of wash and wear kinds of dogs: Border collies and Aussies mostly.

I like them athletic, lean, fast and furry. Long muzzles, prick or semi prick ears, long or semi long coats. I think Black tri is my favorite color on any dog.

My other favorite "type" is that heavy wolfy/shepardy type. I love a good black and tan shepherd (short coated though) and I'm just in love with Tupac and think Zeff is gorgeous (but not sure I could handle his issues) so a fan of the very wolfy type dogs, with masks, scrum!

Not that I'd want to encourage you towards spitz breeds.... but have you ever seen a black Norwegian Buhund... I prefer them to the wheatens.. and they aren't as noisy as a Finnish....

Ok, my preferences are for spitz and primative breeds, pointy noses, pricked ears and, if they have one, an over the top curled tail.

Strangely I also have a soft spot for Rotts and Jap chins

I am also a sucker for anything coloured grey or grey sable (cats, dogs, hamsters you name it..... if it's grey and it's got a sob story behind it you can guarantee it will be coming home..... which resulted in me once buying the killer devil hamster from hell... no seriously, he used to chase the dogs around the house, and if you woke him he'd rise up from bed teeth bared and fighting)
