Poor Max - life hasn't been very kind to him, has it? If only I had the space and ability.........

The epilepsy shouldn't frighten off potential homers - it isn't hard to get a pill into a dog and will probably cost only around 8p a day (depending on dosage; Snorri-dog gets 1x30mg a day, 8p.) - vets will charge what vets will charge, and this will vary, but, again, it's small potatoes for what you get in return.

I won't rush to condemnation of the previous owners (although I do think they could have done better by Max), as epilepsy is pretty scary to witness - I thought Snorri-dog was dying when I saw it first, but experience shows that it is not to be worried about (in most cases), you just have to set up a system for remembering to dish out the pills on time. Believe it or not, there are still people who see epilepsy as some form of "demonic possession" and Max's previous people may have come into this absurd category.

So, folx, rush to form an orderly queue to give this doggy a new place of his own!

Snorri
