Public opinion, would you change your breed because of it?

I have been asked if because Staffies have such a bad name, why I do not get a dog people like!!
I would no way change my breed to suit others , what about you?

No i wouldn't change my breed for other people,i had lectures of my dad years ago,when we had our first stafford.
Tough if they don't like it they can stay away.

Nope I've lived with GSDs since the 1950's when TBH most were awful temperament wise Haven't got one at present but I will be getting another

No way would I change because of public opinion!! Jack Russells have always had bad press -"ankle-biters", yappy, blah blah....We are out to prove em wrong- if I was worried about what most people think I wouldnt have a Jack Ilove most breeds and would happily have a whippet or daschund
