My, My, you really dont have a clue do you, the money generated by yesterday wedding will benefit of this country , which will far outweigh the states involvement.
Not to mention the charity work , both princes do to help and promote those very people that are starving.
I take it you do your bit too, for all those people dying in the world due to lack of food and war!
Had you not heard, that the families paid for the wedding themselves

The royal wedding gave the entire planet a little time to forget the global cash crisis and made me proud to say im English.I wish them both well.
As in I wasn't interested.....the TV didn't go on at all, I haven't even seen pics of the couple etc.
I don't know if 'us' (the tax payers) paid for it, and if we did, I'm not impressed!
I'm self employed....my shop was open on Friday, and we took only a small amount under what we would normally take on a Friday (Of course I wasn't working due to still being off sick), but if I was well, I would have worked my hours.

the money that was generated yeasterday not one of us will see it it will go into the ax manns pocket ye i do my bit i help as much as i can i belive in the greater good of mankind not just some fammily dont get me wrong im all for em getting hitched fair doos to em but why cant they have a normal wedding like every other person

Your grasp of the economics of the country you live in leaves a lot to be desired.
By all means shun the wedding as other people said they did---but do get your facts straight if you are then going to spill your vitriol all over the thread.
