Has anyone heard of this breeder?

Hello

I was wondering if anyone had purchased a dog from Gwynion Dogs (www.gwyniondogs.co.uk). They mainly seem to breed border collies and dalmatians. If anyone has had any experience of them please let me know.

Thanks

Indirectly - my Jack's dam is a Gwynion.

I'm American, so I have never heard of them. In the video, I think there are too many dogs. When I see tons of dogs like that, it always makes me think "overbreeding".

Also, I saw pure bred puppies for 300, which is low IMO and they breed Sheltie/BC crosses and Lurchers. Makes me think overbreeding even more. I could be wrong and and am only making a general statement after checking the website, of course.

None of their Border Collies has been hip scored & it also looks like none have been DNA tested.

Their Shetland Sheep dog has drop ears & looks huge.

Their Westie doesn't have the correct harsh coat

Run a mile is my advice

I only scanned the site, seems as if JoedeeUK did more research. I knew something smelled off...

Hmm, as Jack's parents (and the litter) had every test possible, I was quite happy and didn't feel the need to delve further, knowing that his breeder would only use suitable parents and wouldn't breed if there was any likelihood of problems.

I've had no direct contact with this breeder and would be surprised if Jack's breeder had taken his dam on if she had been at all concerned.

Hello and welcome!

Never heard of them before, but this bit scared me a little...
We supply puppies throughout the UK and abroad
Might just be me, but the world supply makes me think more "business" more than "beloved dogs"

No mention of BAER tests on the dalmatians
No mention of any health tests on any breeds, actually
