Hi Everyone!

Hello fellow dog lovers!

My name is Robin, and I live in a suburb outside of San Francisco with my husband, two teenage sons, and our 6 year old Wirehaired Pointing Griffon named Archie.

I am not just the “oh how cute” keep walking dog admirer. When I see a dog, my voice changes, I forget about what I’m in the middle of doing. Etiquette goes out the window. My persona changes and I have to go play with the dog, make “cute” dog sounds, pick up the dog, lie on the ground with the dog, and forget about the important task I was in the middle of doing. Usually the dog owner feels the same way and is very patient with my spectacle,... usually.

Often my kids and I will see a dog outside, lost or stray and in danger, and we make it our mission to get the dog to safety and find its family. We have become the unofficial neighborhood dog rescue and we volunteer at the local Humane Society.

The bottom line is I love dogs. Dogs are unconditionally devoted. All they want from you is love and attention. They accept you for who you are unequivocally and will stop at nothing to protect you. A dog’s entire purpose in life is to love you. And I’m excited to join a community of people who share my passion!

Oh Robin, you do sound as though you very much belong here amongst us mad doggie people. We do love them as a fellow family member and do treat all dogs as good, maybe not always advisable but it is in our make up!
