Our Dog, Unsure what breed he is.

Hello,

We have recently brought a family dog and fell in love with him the moment we saw him, and just knew he was the dog for us. However we are unsure what breed he is even our local vets cant help us! maybe some of you may help us. We where told that we was a West Highland White Terrier.

He is around a year old. And since these photo's being taken had a much needed trim.

No expert but I'd say he had beardie collie in him, but what a stunner, he's beautiful regardless of what he is

to me he looks like a Lhasa Apso cross Westie... very pretty dog.

here`s a couple of pics of my lhasa cross`s brother.. who`s bigger and hairier than she is. I think he`s got a similar look to your boy..

I would say very long haired westie, he's very cute though.

Glad someone mentioned beared Collie, because that's exactly what I thought he looked crossed with too.

My sister has a Westie, and the coat when it grows isn't as soft looking or waving as yours.

beautiful dog though I have to say xxxxxx

Could be a Westie/Skye Terrier cross. Def Westie perhaps crossed with Lhasa Apso.

No matter what cross a really cute dog.

Don't think he is a particular breed and I would not want to hazard a guess at what or how may breeds he is carrying but to me he has the head of a Beardie and the coat colour of a Westie but the coat is too long and looks the wrong texture, so as to my answer, I have no idea and I guess it does not matter except from the point of view of health as you are not aware what the dog may be prone to.
