Woman Attacks Dog Breeder With Chihuahua

Woman Attacks Dog Breeder With Chihuahua

Thursday, June 8, 2006

(06-0 09:24 PDT ST. PETERS, Mo. (AP) --

A woman angry that her new puppy had died pushed her way into a dog breeder's home and repeatedly hit her on the head with the dead Chihuahua, authorities said.

The 33-year-old woman told police she had taken the puppy to a veterinarian, who said it was only 4 weeks old and needed to be returned to its mother. But before she could return the puppy, it died.

Early Wednesday, the woman went to the breeder's home, pushed her way inside and began fighting with the breeder as she tried to make her way to the basement to get another puppy, police said.

The breeder wrestled the woman out of her house to the front porch, where the woman then hit the breeder over the head numerous times with the dead puppy, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported, citing police.

As the woman drove away, she waved the dead puppy out of the car's sunroof and yelled threats at the breeder, police said. She later called the breeder and threatened her and her family, according to court records.

Police said they are considering felony burglary charges and misdemeanor assault charges.
Phyco! This woman needs serious education on BYB's. And the poor thing was only 4 weeks old. Rest in peace, little one. Woman and breeder are both idiots.

I can imagine being hit on the head with a dead chi would be unpleasant.

How bizarre.

I agree, they are both idiots, the breeder for breeding the poor dogs and the woman for keeping people like her in business. When I started reading I thought the woman was just very misguided in her choice of breeder but it angers me that, after she knew how young these pups were, that she still tried to take another which would probably have suffered the same fate.

jeez what a weird story. sounds like both the breeder and the woman are to blame there, but it's too bad for the chihuahua =(

that must have been an odd sight to any nearby neighbors...

That was awful - the poor wee dog. Both breeder and the owner of the wee pup, are idiots. The new owner for having no respect for the wee dead pup and the breeder for having taken it away from its Mother too early.

This story has been making the rounds on dog forums for at least 4 years now, so not sure if it's true.

But if it is, how sad for the dogs.

If it's true, it sure is a strange story.

Thankfully it wasn't a St Bernard
