Nordic show at Ryton

Hi does anyone know if the Nordic show will be very big?

I'd like to go along but not sure if it'll be worth it.

I'm interested in the Finnish Lapphund and they are normally small classes so as this is a Nordic show wondered if there would possibly be a few more attending.

Did you go in the end? I went along as just got my first FL a few weeks ago. There were only five entered and only 2 of those turned up. If you are interested in the FL then please feel free to contact me and i can put you in touch with people. Look up the two Finnish Lapphund societies over here.
The FL are having their championship show in April next year at KC building Stoneleigh, so shouldn't be too far from you. Failing that there are a few shows before then where you'll catch them

I managed to get over to have a look although there were only the two there. I'll go to the LKA on the 10th for another fix!

I think they may be what I'm looking for although I have never had a spitz type before so want to be sure they really are for me.

if you do go to LKA try and want to watch the judging find out when they are in the ring. Last year i went with a friend who has them we were done and dusted at 3 p.m. she didn't go into the ring before 5p.m.

there are 20 entered at LKA .i'll find out for you if my friend is going and if you want you can chat FL with her.

Yes, my friend had her two girls there. You werent' the lady who came up to enquire about the breed were you?

I did speak to her about them and watched her in the ring.

Ah right, well she has her two girls entered at LKA so if you go, look her up. she'll be able to introduce you to some others in the breed
