Its very common in labs... It also shows if they havent been in water for a long time, and then overdo it, f.ex by going for a swim all day...

They can get it from swimming, but Ally hasnt been swimming for a long time.
She has gotten hers from just being cold I think.

Its just really sad to see her pull back. wanting to be left alone and in pain when she tries to wag that tail
