Conjunctivitis

does anyone have a home remedy for conjunctivitis for over the weekend both mums dog and jake has it.turns out his eyes or fine which was a big worry last week. But now they both have junky eyes ,so until Wednesday I can't get to the vets any sooner wondered what we could use to help calm the itch

I know this might be some poor advice, but I always look on the internet for natural/home remedies.

I admit, I haven't tried this for my father's dog yet tho.

I am sure he would never go for that.

He is a firm believer in conventional, chemical medications for pets and people.

Optrex or even some cold tea , until you can get too your vet
Golden eye ointment don't know if it's still available

I bathe eyes with cooled boiled slightly salted water. If I feel it needs it, I use Brolene drops - don't think you can get Golden Eye ointment any more.

Well there defro going to the vets again. But apart from antihistamine at bed time I wanted something just to take the itch away .
