It looks like it's been really well taken care of and nicely done up. Definitely a dream house Have to admit, I'm a sucker for bare wood.

Still not quite over the prices though...

You definitely get more for your money in Wales Jen

Maybe we should pick a town and make it a Dogsey village - imagine that, loads of us living near each other

I'll never be able to afford a place of my own. At least living onsite I only pay £20 a week rent and they fund my electric, water and oil. I can dream though.

A dogsey village would be awesome Although if the daily threads are anything to go by it could be a very odd place to live...

I had a look and like you say it's beautiful and with 1.5 acres available as well, so plenty of room for trees and ponds and whatever. Three years ago I looked at a few houses around Carmarthen (I know some people who live just to the South) but, for now at least OH doesn't want to move.

There's lots of money to be made selling off small parcels of land with planning permission, but that's the snag, you can't get planning permission if you don't own the land, and if you buy the land you might not get planning permission and end up owning 1.5 acres that you can do 'nowt with.

Here's part of our 'paddock' :-

Looks stunning Azz I would have loads of chickens if I lived there.

I'm liking the idea of a Dogsey village

It looks very picturesque Harvey tell your partner Wales is nice, and the weather's not quite as bad as you get there

Well that's three of us up for a Dogsey Village... anyone else?

We could have a little village hall where people could drop in during the day to say hello to everyone, much like the daily threads....

For some reason I can imagine this Dogsey village to only have one way in and once you were in, you couldn't get back out again - keep all us crazy lot together
