I got asked the weirdest thing....

I took Monty to our local farmers market today and as we were walking round we stopped at a local meat stand. The lady running it looked at Monty and noticed his bald spots on his head and asked:

"Oh, did he get hot custard spilt on his head?"

Fair enough that it may appear that he got burnt but why custard?!? I think people don't believe me sometimes when i say he's had them since birth! People usually assume he's been fighting or we've been beating him!

It was one of those instances where you wonder if you've heard correct. I just assumed she was trying to be funny!!

Poor old Monty, you can't take him anywhere without having to answer a million questions!!

There's no understanding the workings of some brains.. unless she had spilled custard on one of hers and something similar was the result?

Some people do say stupid things, and you spend the rest of the day trying to fathom out what they must have been thinking. If I'd seen Monty's bald spots I wouldn't have said anything, it's none of my business.

Would that be Birds Eye or Ambrosia???
