Ace and Jax.
Ace because that's what his foster mom named him. Then when we got Jax... we thought we would stick with the suit! We tend to call them aceman and blackjax!!

Hi,

When I was growing up I remember particularly a Doberman called Otto ('cos my Mom decided he had to have a German name) and an Irish Setter caled Baron (registered name, Copperplate Confusion - again my Mom's idea thinking I/Setters were elegant and noble!)

My last GSD was called Jaikei. I went to B'ham Dogs' Home with the intention of getting a dog and calling it Jake. I ended up with a bitch so had to make it a little more feminine, hence she was called Jaikei.

Zane is so called jsut because my 4 year old liked the name. Ellie is so called because it rhymes with smelly and by God she stinks after she's eaten. Murphy (rescue dog who had to go back to his fosterer at Xmas) was already named when we had him. Yiannis was named because my 4 year old liked the name.

I wouldn't normally agree with kids naming ALL of the pets in the house, but I think my Son has done well so far - apart from the goldfish: he's called "Fish" 'cos we couldn't think of anything apropriate.

Laura xx

Kym - her racing name was Coolagorna Kym - although bambi would have been nice as she looks like a deer (fawn with black eyeliner round her brown eyes, similar long nose to a deer)

I had a JRT called Pippin (Pip) the kids named him after the dog in Come Outside kids programme

Our Amber also answers to Bambi.

If we are out and they are running free I usually walk them in groups of about 4 and I want them all back rather than shout all their names I just shout PUPS and they all come back.

sadie was named as her registered name is timberwolf mercedes so it made sense to call her a shortened version!

Yoda was named as i was watching a episode of monkey world and they had a monkey called yoda and i though it suited him (at the time i had never watched star wars and did not have a clue he was a character in it) and now everyone new to meet him asks if im a star wars fan!! lol

Mine are Star because of her registered name, Dora because she's a snorer!! Ella was already named and the youngster is Leo because I liked it. Have always said new male would be Dyson as all they do is hoover the floor.

My Monty named after General Montgomery, strong and brave and Monty Panesar - exuberent and energetic. He was christened with "The Montysaurus" when a group of children likened him to a dinosaur cos he's so big. Hence, Monty the Montysaurus.
