Any one watch watch dog this week on about ipods the batteries are failing at just over a year old and out of warranty to replace faulty batteries £100

There were quite a lot of problems with the original ipods. That report was Feb 2004 so hopefully things have improved since then.

I would rather get a new ipod than replace the battery.
