can lanacashire heelers have ears that dont stand strait up?

I have what i thought was a rotti corgi named butch but when i was at my grooming job today I came across a rare breed of dog the lanacashire heeler and butch looks a lot like one can any one tell me if he is or not

Hi Lux I used to live just outside Ormskirk near a well known LH breeder, his dogs were quite small like a Jack Russel,good natured and fantastic ratters...this is going back many years and the breed may have changed a little since then. As SB says the ears should be erect, but if you are asking about a puppy/young dog ..remember when they are teething dogs do all sorts of strange things with their ears

thank you for your info on the lanacshire heller i would like to put a better picture of butch to show you what he looks like but i dont know how to on this

your dog does look quite like a lancashire heeler, did you see both the parents when you got him ? do you know for sure what hes crossed with? he looks a cutie
