Anyone hear anything about dogsblog being hacked ...

And if its true why the hell would they bother

Not that i am aware of ... just if it has been hacked it might trick you into downloading stuff...

I think they use wordpress - if it's not kept up to date it is a hackers dream come true.

I doubt it was targeted - hackers will usually fire off automatic scripts to follow links on the web and look at code to see if the software used is out-dated (out-dated usually = security vulnerability) and when they find it they exploit the vulnerability.

Wordpress is one of the worst - if you use it you *have* to make sure you update it to the latest version as soon as they are released.
