Bird flu again in Devon

3 swans have picked up the virus according to BBC news this morning, it's the deadly strain as well.

yesterday ther was five dead swans today there was 3 . i chicken egg farm which is free range had to put chickens into a barn if theyre ther for 6 weeks they will have to have FREE RANGE taken from them!!

My Parents holiday chalet is based a mile away from Abbotsbury Swannery, there's at least 800 swans there at the Swannery. It's such a shame.

It sure is, I remember there was a swan washed up on the beach here in Fife last year, the quarantine area was massive, the concern is for public health as it's the same strain that's lethal to humans.
