Snowmobile

Hubby has just bought a secondhand exSAS snowmobile haha - it should be good fun if we get the amount of snow we had last year.

Has anyone ever driven one? How easy are they to handle?

I will post pics when I have put then on photobucket, although it isn't particularly fancy - more of a workhorse

I was going to say to you that I want to come over and play with it....but the chances are, when the snow is bad enough to need it, I won't be able to reach you

Hubby and I spent a couple of hours on one when we went to Canada earlier this year. It was fantic fun.

Steering can be a little tricky and hard, the one thing our guide couldnt say enough was - you must hang out when you turn. We're not just just talkng leaning into your turn, but practically hanging off it, he kept saying get your butt well and truly off the seat! this incudes your passenger too.
If you dont hang off into your turn it can have a tendency to tip over. If for example you are turning right and dont hang into your turn, it will tip to the left. It happened to one of the couples in our group, me and hubby had a near miss too!

They are awesome fun and I would love to have another go.
