A couple of years ago, when my dog had turned aggressive towards other aggressive dogs after numerous attacks on herself, we met up with another gsd one morning, who was heading towards us, and the lady called out, don't worry, leave your dog offlead, he'll be find with yours. So that's what I did, I left my dog offlead but close to me as this other dog approached us. It was only then, that I noticed it had a muzzle on it, and it flew for my girl, but instead of her retaliating (and at this period of time she would WELL have done that), she totally ignored it, went round to its back legs where she had dropped her ball, and it was still trying to have a pop at her

I took her away from this dog, but it did rather surprise me, that my dog made no reaction to it whatsoever, I wonder if she understood that either a) it wasn't going to be able to do her any harm with that muzzle on or b) whether she thought it couldn't protect itself if she had a go at it? I will never know
