Red setters

Is it me or are there not as many red setters about nowadays???used to love them as a kid but haven't seen one for ages

Agree with you, used to see them about but you dont see too many of them.

Must admit I prefer the English setters to them all [sorry to any Gordon and Irish Red lovers] - such beautiful elegant dogs.

They don't seem to be as popular as they once were, although I have seen one or two around here. They are beautiful dogs aren't they?

I love French Bulldogs and Boston Terriers and would like to own one in the future, but have never seen one around apart from at a show.

Someone I used to baby sit has a red setter called Flame, and she's gorgeous! He was going to use her for the gun but she was attacked by the resident viscious boxer so unfortunately she's too nervous now! Sweet dog though, soft as muck!

I saw one the other day...my kids were going 'awww what a lovely dog, beautiful colour'...they hadn't seen one before
