Calling all Bikers - what was your first Motorbike?

Considering the latest fuel crisis, the fact that I now have a job which allows me to travel on a lovely twisty B road and the fact that I've always been a bit Bike mad, I'm now seriously thinking about taking my CBT and buying a little 125.

I'm considering a Honda CG/CBR 125, but not sure which yet!

Just wondering what you Biker's out there had as a first bike (pics would be good! ) and what you'd recommend now?

Also, being nearly 29 ( ) do I have to take the CBT or can I do the DAS straight away instead?

Thanks people.

OH says everyone has to do a CBT, he says they'll make you do your theory test, then your CBT then your DAS as they can't book you in for that til you've passed your theory test.
He did his last year and now has a Honda CBR 600RR.

This is when he got it, he's improved it a bit since then. But that was his first bike since having one as a teen.... and he'll be 40 next month.
