My first Border, "Connor" was very good at talking "dog." he was excellent with nervous or shy dogs, somehow making them feel at ease. Ive perhaps been lucky in as much as Ive never had a dog aggressive dog, wouldnt want one either, all these behave well round other dogs but differently. Breeze will rub sides with another dog without looking at it, she never plays nor interacts with strange dogs, ignores them, but she is an instigator for play at home, always having a rough and tumble. Orey says hello, then carries on with what he is doing, Livvy is the same, although she does enjoy a game of chase. Livvy is the most submissive to other dogs.
