We were mucked about by at least 3 potential buyers when we sold our last place. Even here apparently there were 2 families looking to buy by could not make up their mind before we said yes take it off the market.
I suppose the best way is to put a time limit on them making up their minds. That way you know if they are serious or not in buying your place.
Time limited to buyers is not that uncommon, we had that on an earlier house purchase, else they are just pis*ing you about.

Getting to that point Barry. i know we took a while to find somewhere but we are now hoping things move quick and thought they were regards the school situation especially.

I wouldn't worry about it too much Lynn. It just sounds to me like the buyers are being careful with it being an older property.
