Rocks in dogs water

Hey guys, not been on in a while for various reasons
Back now

I have a question about these rocks and things to add to dogs water/bowl!

I was always interested in the dog rocks for stopping the burn marks on grass as I am getting a hard time from parents about it haha, but wasn't happy about putting something in that would alter his "levels" as I was never sure how safe it was....

Now I have come across "Hatchwell Rock Sulphur" which you disperse into their water and it helps keep them cool, which seems like a good plan... but I am still wary about adding things he doesn't "need".

Any idea how safe these kinds of things are?

Perfectly safe, nobody knows if it actually DOES cool the blood tho"

Cannot do any harm.

Apparently it's like Salt licks - it keeps them hydrated. But I don't know if they work or not, my dogs are happy to dig a hole under the shade and lay there - cold soil keeps them cool also they have paddling pools and the tiles in the kitchen to keep cool on and a leather sofa too..

We have wooden floors and the dog loves the paddling pool and the pond in the garden aswell
He is a bit "slower" on hot days though, so for £2 I will give it a shot! If it doesn't seem to make any difference then fair enough, but if it does keep him a little cooler I am happy to give them a go!
