I'm glad that's solved - the thought that anyone might think a Cesky Terrier could look like that fills me with horror!

(Apart from anything else I can state categorically that no Cesky Terrier has ever been to the Great Yorkshire Show )

It would be interesting to know what date it was made - my first thought was that it might be a working Dandie, as there is a very big Working Terrier Show held in conjunction with the Great Yorkshire, and there isn't (now at any rate - there might have been at one time) a KC dog show.

But a Poodle in a trim popular at the time also makes sense.

That particular picture is a very well used poodle one at the time it was done. You can find it on many different things!

Thanks everyone - it's been very enlightening! I like the ears and the cresty thing, but I must admit I don't think a moustache really suits a poodle. Mind you, I'd love to see a schnauzer and a cesky with a closely shaved face, just out of curiosity!
