New Year Fireworks

How many of you dose up your pets for the celebrations for the new year like you do for NOV 5th.

We are lucky as ours don't get bothered about them even little Holly (8 weeks old)didn't bother about them so we shounldn't have any problems with her in the future.

Chester loves them, we have to literally lock the doors because he is so eager to get to them... he stands there looking fixed on them wagging his tail .

I think Mollie was worse this time than for Nov 5th - there wasn't much build up during the evening just a lot of explosions concentrated in half an hour or so.

Awww poor Buds and Daisy

Luna is aware of them, but that's it. She looks at the colourfull ones....

Bella, my friends GSD is not too happy about them... So we had all curtains pulled last night, and she did rather well actually ( I was dogsitting), she lay at my feet sleeping most of the evening. The telly was on really loud!!!! I watched Pirates of the Caribbean (again ) Good noisy movie

Oh and here its not just half an hour.... Oh no they were at it all day.... And around kiddies bedtime, it got a bid wilder, then quietted down a bit again till midnight.....

But there's really not a break in it, well that should be during the danish queen's speech on telly at 6 pm.... 15 minutes peace

But we got through it, and woke up to a mess on the grass area behind the appartment blocks.

Rosie and Daisy were both pregnant on 5th November and absolutely petrified of the fireworks............but last night they were fine, no worries at all, and there were LOTS of fireworks going off around here!

Gus isnt bothered in the least but Libs is still a bit unsure of them.
My last Staffy Sam, was petrified and I mean petrified and we did visit the vet when Bonfire Night etc came around- so I can fully sympathise with anyone who has a frightened animal- its not nice to see them so terrified
