thanx inca, hil and j. i am so glad i have all you dogwebbers and so is my vet! if i didnt have u my vet would be on prozac by now! max hasnt been sick again thank goodness and is mainly dozing by the fire. hopefully the worst is behind us now. he hasnt bothered with his wound at all since the dressing came off so i am sure he will continue to improve now and he is on antibiotics and anti inflammatories now so we have it all covered! thanx again for everyones support i promise i will be back to normal and not so stressed out real soon. xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Sorry that you and Max have had such a bad time. There we all were saying don't worry, simple op., won't be any problems, and Max goes and proves us wrong - typical dog He should be ok now and will soon be bouncing around.
