Hope Gary likes his new bed and that you both now get a bit of peace and quiet Chris.

Overcast this morning but at least it is dry at the moment. Planning on planting out my runner beans. Plumber came yesterday and soon sorted the problem. It was the sealant round the bath that had gone and when using the shower the water was running underneath and dripping onto the floor and then through a small pipe hole. Easily sorted and mind put at rest. Just got to wait for the ceiling to dry out and then paint it.

Overcast and a lot cooler this morning.

The bed should come around 2.30 pm. The 44 mph winds are forecast to come in at 2 pm. Wish me luck

Peace and quiet is an unknown commodity for us, Sue. We never expect it so when we do get a taste of it, it's really appreciated.

SSD drive for the computer is due between now and 2 pm which means that I won't have to put up with the swearing while Dave fits it because I'll be at Gary's

Yay, the bed is in (came 40 minutes late) and new bedding is on.

Apart from them being late, it all went smoothly. They even took the old bed and mattress away for just £10. Brilliant service and made it so much easier

Brilliant News Chris, hopefully that will be peace....for a little bit
Had a chat with the Dr today and am going to see someone Tuesday...in person, a proper real life appointment!!!

Oh Kelly, that's great news because it's not the same talking over the 'phone to doctors. At least you get to see your doctor in person and both you and s/he will be in a better position for asking all the relevant things you both need to know.
