Freeview question

Hi all, I was thinking of getting a freeview box for our lil' telly in the bedroom.

Now then, said telly was a Christmas present to me from Santa when I was 12yrs old so that makes her 26!!! She's never missed a beat so I am really reluctant to throw her away BUT she doesn't have any scart sockets or anything (obviously )

Will I be able to connect a freeview box through the aerial socket or is she destined to be replaced?

Good news Ashlady you will not have to throw your TV away.

The scart lead is just a option you can connect it like the vcr with cables.

SCART leads give better pic quality and also you don't have to change channel as it just appears to what channel your on.

Cheers Leo, there is only the aerial socket to use, would I need to buy an adaptor?

No adpter needed if it's just being connected like that you might need a new arial to recieve digital pictures check this out to see if you do

So your connection will be like this
lead from arial into back of digi free veiw box then lead from free view box to TV
