Winston and Lillie a pair of Basset crosses

01-02-12 Winston and Lillie are in need of a home through no fault of their own. They are 5yr old basset crosses and are brother and sister. Winston and Lillie have been much loved dogs and are up to date with all their vaccinations as well as both being neutered and micro chipped. They are both house trained and very easy to manage. Winston and Lillie have made loving family dogs and are used to being around children of all ages. They've not been tested with cats but have lived with a rabbit and duck. Winston and Lillie enjoy long walks but are equally happy to stay at home and have cuddles. Ideally Winston and Lilli would like a home together. Being brother and sister they are very fond of each other as you can see from their photos.

13-02-12 UPDATE

We are looking for a very special home for these adorable and quite unique siblings, where they can stay together as they are devoted to each other. They are currently living happily with six other dogs, where the dog bones are left lying around for all to share. They love people, are brilliant with children of all ages, but need a home without cats. Happy to be left together for reasonable periods of time, are housetrained, not destructive in any way, happy to have nails clipped, not food possessive, love travelling, being groomed and sleep all night, (both snoring away quite contentedly!!) They are a pleasure to foster as they have the most wonderful temperament, and are very welcome house guests. Winston is the size of a big male labrador, but with very short legs. He is very laid back, being of the most gentle nature, very affectionate, loves to be nursed, or to snuggle up to you, resting his head on your lap. He is happiest trotting along by Lillie, who he takes direction from, and is never far from her side. This boy is very handsome, with his endearing wrinkly face. Lillie is the size of a female labrador, also with very short legs. Lillie is more out going and adventurous than her brother, but despite being quite independent, she often washes Winston and she sleeps either curled up close to him, or resting her head on him as if he were a pillow. She also loves to be nursed and is very affectionate, giving big slobbery kisses. She is very pretty and has "Nora Batty" front legs.
