Ok just coming back here now...

I'm not going to switch foods. I don't know if it irritated others, but Dahlia has been eating it for over 5 years. And it turned out that the foster home Ben was in had been feeding the exact same thing.

It's been some time since I made this post and after a lot of the stress left Ben, he's been able to relax and so put on a little weight and seems to be at a good weight (can feel his ribs but not like before, can't feel all the parts of his spine anymore). And his coat is AMAZING. It was dull and dry when we got him. It all shed out this summer and when it came in it was super shiny and just beautiful.
