Pereg, when she is well and normal, is, indeed a very sweet and adorable girl. But I love her even when things are bad with her. Because underneath the bad is that pretty sweet little Pereg who I love so much.

It is like having two totally different dogs. One that much as I hate to admit it, I wish would just go away and just stop it - go away and leave me alone.

And then there is Pereg - who is not plagued by seizures and bad resulting post-ictal behaviour, who is the most adorable and loving girl anyone could ever wish for.

[Erin - please do not think my floor is nice -the stone tiles are mostly badly stained which is why I have a large rug/carpet in my salon. Pereg just happened to be flonked down on semi reasonable stone tiles in the kitchen!]

She is a delightful looking dog. With the funniest expressions. Who is clearly loved and doted upon by you.

Pereg is sweet - she is gentle - she has a lovely nature - but gorgeous? Well maybe to me she is but she is not really gorgeous. She drives me nuts at times, especially when she is post ictal, and I hate seeing her rictus when she is having a seizure because she looks so horrible - but when she is fine like she was this afternoon she shows how sweet and how gentle she is.

And I do love her so very very much.

She has the sweetest expression. What a patient girl - sounds like her dinner was worth the wait.

Oh Linda, Pereg really is so sweet when she is her normal self, and I think you know what I mean by that. And she is forgiven everything once she is back to her nornal self - sweet, lovable, cuddly, huggable - just perfect. And I forget the living nightmares that she is when the Monster comes calling.
