Well Pippa isn't really a stage dog! She has never done anything like this before. We weren't getting paid or anything! Although apparently one of the agents who came to see the students asked if Pippa had 'representation'! Haha.

Breeze was a failed show dog(she didn't like standing still), the sum total of her earnings for all the productions she was in was £10 for 7 brides for 7 brothers !!! She had only had basic obedience before putting on her stage shoes.

The professional touring company wanted to borrow her for their Annie production back in the mid 1980s, the dog they had was one they had got from Battersea dogs home & employed a"professional"trainer to handle. It couldn't be let off lead & missed several of the scenes it should have been in. We refused as they wanted their trainer to handle her & she was of the old school of chokers & force & in any case Breeze had been trained to respond to me off stage & no one else.

What a little darling she is. And she certainly looks as if she enjoyed the experience (and all the fuss from her co-stars!)

Well done to Pippa!

Glad the shows went well. Pippa looks quite the part in her costumes and certainly looks happy with her co-stars
Well done
