Why did I do it?

Benji went to the groomers in November and was starting to look a bit scruffy again and his beard was long and messy so I decided to give him a bit of a clip with the clippers that I bought last summer but have never dared to use much Well everything was going okay and I was quite pleased with myself - until the clipper guard flew off I wasn't quick enough and he has now got a clipper shaped bald patch at the bottom of his back

I feel so bad now and wish I had booked him in at the groomers instead although there will probably be a two week wait

Its worse that it looks on the picture it is right down to the skin I didn't know whether to carry on and take a bit more off his back or not but to Benjis relief I gave up I have just bathed him so with any luck the water might have made it grow a tidgy bit

Yes they are very friendly dogs - he gets on with anything be it animal, human or child so we are lucky in that way. Just a pity about the bald patch - I could always blame the vet couldnt I and say he had to shave him for something
