Pleased you all appreciate it. It was very poignant, but so very true and I really hope that it helps someone who has lost a pet come to terms with the loss and helps them decide on giving a home to another.

It's the sort of thing that reminds me of when I lost Ozzy (nearly 2yrs ago, gosh time flies ) , I was so unsure of getting another dog, but it was the best decision I've ever made (even though coersed into it) and I hope this does the same for someone else.

Thank you so much for bringing such a lovely poem. It gave me goosebumps and made me cry though. It is so true though and says exactly what I feel. When we've lost pets we immediately get another one. It's not that you want to replace the one you've sadly lost, but more that you have that empty gap in your heart that needs to be filled. Thanks again xx
