Hi
What stated the jam scone thing was a chap who had dementia (he also had various other ailments and was in the hospice) he due to his dementia forget he'd had tea and loved jam cream scones he'd had a dog years before and think Sal jogged his memory and he'd always shared the cream tea with his dog.
I couldn't stop him he enjoyed it so very much once a month now whenever we go to the hospice she goes straight to his room we can't explain he's since died.
So she goes every time - no one else tries to feed her. But Cyril did and his family told the nurses he enjoyed the "dog visits very much because she brings a cream tea" he had everything mixed up toward the end. Bless him. The nurses said the often had visions of Sal with a tea trolle
y going up and down the corrridor.
