Good morning to you! - Thursday!

Morning all,

I’m hoping that the weather will change for the better soon, as I need to plant tomatoes and onions. I could probably get away with planting them now, but the miserable rain and cold weather puts me off a bit. I would hate for them to fail.

It’s naff again today, and I feel for Baz. Who would work outside in this!

Oh well, another day above ground is always appreciated, regardless.......

Have a great day, everyone, and stay safe

Today's gem:
Veni, Vidi, Velcro – I came, I saw, I stuck around.

Morning Vicki, morning all.

I am going to try and catch up on what I have missed but am likely to be just popping in and out while I can concentrate.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning Vicki and all,
My goodness its mild this morning and has stopped raining for now too.
These tablets the doctor gave me at hospital yesterday I am not happy with. It says they lower blood pressure as well as helping with angina pain, but I have never had high blood pressure its always spot on. I took one last night before bed and have woken up this morning feeling, so tired, light headed dizzy and sick, my eyes are not focusing properly either. I can't function like this, and have to go to work later, so will try and get to the pharmacy this morning and have a chat with the pharmacist about them see what he advises as I am wondering if they have mde my blood pressure drop too low as it wasn't high in the first place.
Hope you all have a good day. Summer has to come soon surely!

Good morning Vicki and all who follow.

Dave grew tomatoes from seed again this year. He was a bit worried when he moved 'em from the kitchen window sill to the greenhouse because we were still having quite a bit of frost, but they've survived and are about 18 inches tall now. We get masses of tomatoes during the summer, but I can't stand 'em so our neighbours tend to like us during the picking season

Well, Barnsley is all arranged for Friday. Worst possible day to go because we'll hit the caravans and weekend awayers on the way back, but it was the only day that fitted in with my sister and still caught me mam's birthday (which is on Friday - she'll be 89 bless her).

Whatever the weather brings, I hope you all enjoy your day and stay safe x
The forecast on the weather today is for it to brighten up later with temperatures around 18 degrees. Mmm, that sounds nice - let's hope they're right for a change because it's piddling down just now and windy with it!

Morning Vicki, Steph, Bev, Grandma, Chris and everyone

Bev I think you should ring the quack about those pills, you can't take something which makes you feel worse no matter what the benefits! I remember them giving me some kind of blood pressure pills and after one day I gave them up I felt so awful, and like you, my bp is always on the low side, so check those out with your doc. Unless you saw an actual heart specialist at that hospital, then hospitals usually go by the one size fits all regime!

Oh I'm so fed up with this weather I have my shower at night, I bother to do my hair, and next morning, I walk Zena and come home looking like a drowned rat and then stay like it all day!!! I've got all this mud sussed out though, with her pool out the back and the hose (yeah, I know about the ban, but when people are filling up baths for their kids, I'm sure one little hosing of one small dog aint gonna make much difference!). She has such a ball in those muddy woods I really don't care about the state she comes home in now, coz she's not getting in my car!

Off to Wickes this morning for some more bits for Dave, just to keep him going with more jobs I've thought of overnight to add to that long list of his. We had a lovely new gate fitted around the side yesterday, 6ft tall, so now I've got no worries about Zena escaping over a small metal one. Got a blacksmith coming at 7 am on Monday to measure up for the big archway at the front, to make us a nice pair of scrolled metal gates, not only will it set the house off a treat, but it will also mean I can have the patio doors open, even the front door and Zena is safe, she can sit on the terrace and watch what's going on out there to her heart's content. There's a lot of wrought ironwork around here but then I suppose that's the Spanish theme we've got going on 'ere lol!

Enjoy yours whatever you're up to

Morning Vicki, morning all.

Bev I hope you can get your medication sorted soon and begin to feel better .
Malka good to see you back even if ony for a short visit. I hope you are feeling less sore today. I like your poster today.
Chris happy birthday to mum tomorrow my mum is 92 tomorrow and spending it in the hospital as we thought. All over a jelly. Have a safe journey.

Weather wet at the moment but bright skies keep trying to peep through. I keep hearing a frog croaking in or near our pond can't see the blooming thing though and it is now bugging me.

Good gem today. Have a good day all.

Morning Vicki and all

Had a lovely day yesterday with my friend. We walked to the next village with 2 of the dogs, we were soaking wet but the local pub let us in. We had a bit of lunch (not easy when you have B's with you) and met someone who had seen us before on our usual stomping ground (he shoots around here). Taz was impeccably behaved, Pip was bouncing around, he made a fuss when my friend went to the loo, didn't murmur when I went!

I am back to fighting with the laminate flooring, cant wait to finish this room and start the next!

Bev, I hope you get your medication sorted, you def don't need to lower blood pressure that is ok.

H, it sounds like it's all coming together, Zena must be in 7th heaven!

I hope you all have a good day, weather not good today but forecast is dry for the weekend!

Morning, folks.

My back is terrible today, took me three hours to be able to move enough to get out of bed. Then had to have a hot soak in the bath for ages to try and make it feel a bit better.

Totally agree with H, I had something that helped my back more than anything else I've tried so far. Unfortunately it made me feel like the living dead, so I stopped taking it. No point in solving one problem if the treatment makes you feel so ill you can't do anything.
